…and now we tell you? It seems at least some odd people have been visiting parties and even participating in good old competitions over the summer of 2026 – in somewhat chronological order as that is the way time work these days:
Curt Cool made music for a few issues of the Speed packmag for his other group, Nah-Kolor – here’s a link to issue 76.
First, our dear Slumgud managed to come a measly 11th in the newschool music competition at Black Valley 2026 with Henry’s Demons Pt. 1.
Later, Curt Cool made 3rd in the Amiga music competition at Pågadata 2026 with One More Hero – he sends his greetings to all the friendly people at this cosy, local party, such as the guys from The Supply Team, Slaze, Phreed, Ca$h, Magnar and Hyperunknown.
On the verge of autumn, Slumgud went to Xenium in Poland – as possibly the first non-Polish Depth member to go to a demoparty in Poland – he also made a whopping 2nd in the executable graphics competition with 63 Rasters Before Sunrise (an Amiga release) and 3rd
and last in the synth music competition Xenium Dieseldub (an Amiga executable, made with Blueberry’s Cinter). What is more, he also combined the two into a little intro, for you to enjoy.
He has a few words to share: “Greetings to to all who was attending and most of all the orgas who basically fought like warriors, solving one problem after another. Truly awesome party, and very interesting talks about the history and such, and so many amiga legends from way back! I won’t name any names because I surely will forget a few! But I will be back next year as well!”
Now, let’s see what the future brings – at least a friendly German fellow who goes by the name of KayPirinha used a few of Curt Cool’s old chiptunes (he even asked for permission) in the cosy feel-good puzzle game called Arrows.
